Click on a colored area to view the watch/warning/advisory, then click on the posted data to view the full statement. See active watches and warnings across the country. The legend at the bottom will indicate whether the storm contains hail, a mesocyclone, or a tornado vortex signature for example. You can drag across the date and time bar to see when a storm will affect a city. Click the box on the arrow for a track with estimated time of arrival. Icons with arrows point the direction of each cell. Lightning strikes that occurred during the last 15 minutes. Those will be listed as C OK, NE OK, SE OK, SW OK and NW OK. For Oklahoma, you can select the hi-resolution NEXRAD sites to get reflectivity and velocity data. Zoom out and drag the map around the country to view travel weather conditions. Radar data is from the National Weather Service.

Pro Tip: Many products can be overlaid together such as radar, storm tracks, and alerts for example.It also provides a legend for some of the products. Weather radar could also be tilted down to map the earth's surface, and a headlandor island identified from a chart. The layer menu icon has an Opacity slider to make the radar image more or less transparent, to more easily view your street behind the storms.To the left of the play button and time stamp, click the + and − buttons to speed up or slow down the radar animation.You can also drag the slider along the time line. Click the NOW button to refresh and view the latest, up-to-the minute image.
